We use the information we collect to:

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties without your consent, except as described in this policy:

With merchants when you interact with their listings
With service providers who assist us in operating our platform
When required by law or to protect our rights
In connection with a business transfer or acquisition

4. WhatsApp and Instagram Data

Merchants can connect their WhatsApp Business Account and their Instagram professional account to Blinkz using Meta's sign-in flows. We only access these accounts after the merchant connects them and grants permission, and only for the features the merchant turns on.

Blinkz uses a connected WhatsApp Business Account to send messages the merchant turns on, such as order alerts. We receive and store:

WhatsApp Business Account ID, phone number ID, display phone number and business display name
An access token issued by Meta that lets Blinkz manage message templates and send messages for that account
Message templates and their approval status
Delivery and read status of messages sent through Blinkz
The name and phone number of the merchant's customers and the order details included in each message

Instagram

Blinkz uses a connected Instagram professional account to reply to comments and direct messages, for example by sending product links to people who comment a keyword on a post, and to show those conversations in the merchant's Blinkz inbox. We receive and store:

Instagram account ID, username, name, profile picture and account type
An access token issued by Meta, stored encrypted, that lets Blinkz read the account's posts, comments and messages and reply to them
Posts the merchant picks for a campaign (post ID, thumbnail and caption)
Comments and direct messages sent to the account, including the sender's Instagram-scoped ID, username and name, and the replies Blinkz sends

How we use and protect it

We process customer and buyer data on the merchant's behalf, only to provide the features they turned on and to show activity in their dashboard.
We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or use it to build profiles. We share it only with Meta Platforms, Inc., which operates WhatsApp and Instagram. Meta's own terms and privacy policies govern how Meta handles it.
Access tokens are never shown back to anyone after an account is connected.
When a merchant disconnects an account, removes Blinkz from their Meta or Instagram settings, or asks us to delete their data, we delete the access token and all data linked to that account. Instagram data is deleted immediately. WhatsApp message logs are deleted within 30 days.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience on our platform. You can control cookie settings through your browser preferences.

You have the right to:

Access and update your personal information
Request deletion of your personal information (see Data Deletion)
Opt out of marketing communications

Our service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties.

9. Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
